We will be offering three merit badges this spring that need additional parent support:  Family Life, Communication, and Citizenship in the Community.

All three are eagle-required badges and an easy way to help out the troop. 

You would be mentored by experienced parents.  Each only requires 3 or 4 Tuesday afternoon meetings over January to April 2025. 

It is time to pay annual dues! In addition, this year with the new dues structure, we are asking all scouts to reconfirm their commitment to the T5 Code of Conduct (see attached document).  Your scout should have received a printed copy of the Code of Conduct for both Scouts and Parents to sign, or you can print this one. Please text the signature page back to Brian Wilson 512-423-9031 and Sean Eidson 214-673-1090. Note that we are also asking for your updated address and mobile number to update our roster. 


T5 2025 dues are Scouts - $155 each and Adults - $65 each. The deadline is Dec 1st, and we have 3 payment options:

We have secured our Philmont expedition dates for June 30 – July 12, 2026.  (Please keep in mind there will be at least one extra day of travel time on either end.)  For those that don’t already know, Philmont is the pinnacle of the High Adventure experiences available in Scouting. Philmont Scout Ranch includes more than 214 square miles of rugged northern New Mexico wilderness. Participating in a Philmont trek is also a time-honored tradition spanning generations of Scouts. 

The Narrows Campout is next weekend on October 25th.  

Make sure to signup on the calendar and send a payment of $30 per attendee by 10/23 if you'd like to come.

Amazing Volunteer Opportunity Thursday at Lions May golf course! If you're in AISD there's no school Thursday. Scouts can volunteer at 9AM to help with the scout flag ceremony at Lions Muny 100 Year Celebration . Be sure to sign up on the calendar and come out to this fun event.
